Last year, our friends at the City Of Pacifica launched their Pacifica Workations program, a unique and fun idea to engage local hotels, promote their Shop Pacifica Gift Card and support local businesses! Below is information on that program, as well as some other ideas for working with your local hotels. Hopefully you'll be inspired to set up a "Workation" Program in your community! You'll find a customizable one pager to pitch the "Workation" Program to your local hotels attached and a one pager to entice hotels to use your Community Card to reward guests here.
- Shop Pacifica Workations- The City of Pacifica teamed up with 7 local hotels to offer a special "workation" deal for folks that want to come work remotely in their wonderful beachside town. Anyone spending two nights at any of the participating hotels will receive a free $50 Shop Pacifica gift card to use at local shops and restaurants. - Community Cards to welcome new guests- Handing guests a personalized Community Card when they check into a hotel is a thoughtful surprise and generous gesture. Guests can then redeem the Community Card at the one of a kind local businesses that make your community special, including right there at the hotel, restaurant or gift shop.
- Recognize and reward loyal guests- Repeat visitors will be delighted to receive a Community Card as a thank you for their loyalty. Yiftee sends monthly reminders to recipients, also reminding them of the sender's generosity.
- Recover when something goes wrong- Hotels can use Community Cards to apologize when a room isn't ready, when food arrives late or when a customer is unhappy with their experience. This is a great way for the business to show they care. Hotels and restaurants can set expiration dates on the gifts to recoup unused funds after the guest's stay.
