Spring is big for gifting! Teachers' Day is tomorrow, May 2nd, Mother's Day is on May 14th, Father's Day is on June 18th and graduation is coming up at the end of this month. This week is also National Small Business Week. Below are our Best Practices for the spring gifting holidays.
- Keep your Community Card top of mind- You'll find customizable social media posts that you can use here. Click on "Use Template" and you'll find social media posts for Mother's Day, Teachers, Dads, Grads and Small Business Week. Don't just post on the holiday (on Mother's Day or on Teacher's Day.) Post up to a week in advance to encourage people to purchase your Community Card. Tell them the gifts can be printed out or scheduled to be delivered on a certain date so they can purchase now and check one more thing off their lists. Send a blast to your mailing list reminding them that your Community Card makes the perfect gift.
- National Small Business Week- Set up your Featured Merchants section so your participating businesses can offer special deals this week. If there's money in your account, use it to set up a raffle where winners get Community Cards to use at participating local businesses during National Small Business Week. You can set expiration dates on the gifts so there's no waste.
