Bulk purchases and Buy One Get One promotions make up 2/3 of card sales! Many companies have fiscal years ending on June 30th, so now is a great time to reach out to potential sponsors. We have tons of materials to help you and we are also available to sit in on calls with potential sponsors and pitch your Community Card program to them. Below are our best practices for recruiting sponsors.
- Identify potential sponsors- Make a list of local employers that might be interested in sponsoring a BOGO or making a bulk purchase. We see a lot of local banks, credit unions and real estate agencies sponsoring BOGOs. Most bulk purchases are made by hospitals and other medical institutions, banks, schools and universities, government offices and nonprofits.
- Check out our free sponsor materials- We have tons of materials for working with sponsors in our free Marketing Resource Center, including one pagers, presentations, a draft email message for potential sponsors and more information on how to work with sponsors for your Community Card. Identify what materials work for you and reach out to potential sponsors to see if they'd like to support your Community Card and local businesses in exchange for recognition and marketing. You can offer to add their logo to your gift card, website and marketing materials and feature them in an article in your local press and at any summer events your organization may be hosting.
- Set up a call with potential sponsors and invite someone from Yiftee- Feel like you need help pitching your Community Card? Schedule a call with us! We're happy to hop on a call with you and a potential sponsor to explain the different ways they can contribute to your Community Card program and support your local businesses. If you'd like to schedule a sponsor meeting, respond to this email or reach out to us at sales@yiftee.com.
