The beginning of the school year is a great time to give teachers, coaches and other school staff a gift they'll love and will also find useful! Community Gift cards are more personal than cash, but just as versatile. We see schools buying gifts for their staff, but even private sponsors or parent associations may be interested in rewarding teachers early for the hard work they'll do in the year ahead. Below are our best practices for "Back To School" and attached is one pager you can send to local schools or potential sponsors.
- Encourage local schools and parent organizations to send your Community Card to teachers and other school staff- Purchasing many gift cards at once is quick and easy and we can offer them perks like waived eDelivery Fees and a free account that allows purchasers to run reports and track gift cards.
- Ask your local schools to add info on your Community Card to their school bulletins- Ask them to include your card name and image, the number of participating businesses and if possible, a QR code linked to your gift card page.
- Use "Order Desk" at school events- Set up a booth at school fairs and other events and use "Order Desk" to sell gift cards to attendees.
- Donate Community Cards to a school raffle or scavenger hunt- This will help create awareness that your card is out there.
