Is there an upcoming Restaurant Week in your Community? Run a Buy One Get One promotion! Restaurant Weeks are popular in many cities and towns and drive lots of residents and "out of towners" to your downtown and your local restaurants. We have a way of creating a special Restaurant Week BOGO that can be used at participating businesses during the event. Below are our best practices for Restaurant Week and other specialized BOGOs.
- Create a special Restaurant Week promotion- Email sales@yiftee.com to set this up. We'll create a new Community Card with the merchants participating in your Restaurant Week. If they're already part of your program, they don't need to run a new Activation Card. Check out this great example for Fenton Restaurant Week.
- Promote the Restaurant Week Gift Card as a limited time offer- Set it up so it can only be used at participating businesses during Restaurant Week and set an expiration date on the bonus gifts. This will help create a sense of urgency for people to purchase and redeem gifts and will allow you to recoup unused funds.
- Reach out to sponsors- Use funds left over from a previous Buy One Get One or contact sponsors that may be interested in funding a Restaurant Week Card. Contact the organizers for your local restaurant week and offer them the opportunity to have a custom branded gift card for their event. You'll find materials for working with sponsors here.
- Run a specialized BOGO for other events and holidays- Create a specialized BOGO for a group of Valentine's Day Merchants or for Mother's Day. Do a Black Owned Business or Women Owned Business BOGO during February and March. Creating this type of BOGO that can only be used at a special group of businesses is easy and free to set up and can be attractive to sponsors and purchasers alike.
